United Methodist Committee on Relief is a safe and sound way to give, as 100% of their donation will go towards disaster relief! They are one of the first on the ground in a disaster and leaves when the job is done.
A great message of solidarity and prayer from my global faith community The United Methodist Church.
United Methodists see a Jesus who heals, who teaches, who forgives, who restores, and who is just.
The Christian does not think God will love us because we are good, but that God will make us good because He loves us….CS Lewis

Faith is like electricity. You can’t see it, but you can see the light.
Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, to all the souls you can, in every place you can, at all the times you can, with all the zeal you can, as long as ever you can
I am not afraid that the people called Methodists should ever cease to exist either in Europe or America. But I am afraid lest they should only exist as a dead sect, having the form of religion without the power. And this undoubtedly will be the case unless they hold fast both the doctrine, spirit, and discipline with which they first set out.
The Nicene Creed, A Important Statement of Faith
We said this in church this morning. The Nicene Creed is a important statement about the Christian faith. Its a great reminder of whom Christians belong and who we are.
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.
We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father; through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven, was incarnate of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary and became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,* who with the Father and the Son is worshiped and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy catholic and apostolic Church. We acknowledge one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.
”God’s time is always the best time.

White Oak United Methodist Church on the fourth Sunday of Advent. It was a great day of being with God’s people to celebrate the season. It was about faith, family, friendship, fellowship and fun. To God be the glory.
