Gizmodo says it would cost $478,947,711,160 to build the starship Enterprise.
inothernews: Good thing that in Star Trek’s timeline, they don’t use money in the future.

My wife made this. Its my face (with goatee) in a “cutout”. Live long and prosper. I wonder if Starfleet has insurance with esurance?
In the spirit of tonight’s “Big Bang Theory”.
My results were Captain Jean Luc Picard
Star Trek: Into Darkness…WOW This looks incredible. It seems J.J. Abrams is going to a darker place for the franchise. Benedict Cumberbatch is going to be an epic villain. I am ready to see this and now.
My wife pointed out to me that Tyler Perry was in the 2009 Star Trek Movie. He was in the scene when Kirk was being charged for cheating by Spock…Can you imagine “Madea’s Star Trek”?
Star Trek (2009) - The reboot from JJ Abrams of this classic sci-fi series from the 1960’s. It has a great cast featuring Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Eric Bana, Winona Rider, Tyler Perry and Chris Hemsworth with Leonard Nimoy. This is a excellent version that will carry the franchise forward in 2013. I think Gene Roddenberry would be pleased. This is our second movie of the night.
Star Trek talks about boldly going where no one has gone before. We as people have to do this sometimes with fear.
Moving forward and boldy going means leaving some comforts and familiar things behind. Its never easy but sometimes there is a blessing in the journey. Hang in there, hold on, you can meet the challenges of the journey.
The Other Boleyn Girl - Full of sci-fi fandom goodness and more!
A sumptuous and sensual tale of intrigue, romance and betrayal set against the backdrop of a defining moment in European history: two beautiful sisters, Anne and Mary Boleyn, driven by their family’s blind ambition, compete for the love of the handsome and passionate King Henry VIII (from IMDB)
This movie features Natalie Portman (Star Wars), Scarlett Johansson (The Avengers) Eric Bana (Star Trek), Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock/Star Trek), David Morrissey (Doctor Who). We can say all these actors have enchanted us on the big and small screens as they zoomed across the universe or have solved a mystery or protected mother Earth. Its a movie worth seeing.
Centuries later, the Hatfield-McCoy feud ended rather abruptly. Funny!

This is Catwoman and Captain Kirk in a little movie The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement. Think about it.

I drank an entire cup of plain water
My resting heart rate was 90
I ate steak and shake
I went for a preplanned...
and not even mad about it.
