A Personal Response

Sometimes when a post is “liked” it doesn’t always mean that you like the fact someone is in distress or is in emotional need. It can be an acknowledgement that you have read the post and care about that person.

Feedback is the lifeblood of a creative person and when someone responds to you it means your message is being heard. Hopefully the community will offer support and love to you. A post that is written from the heart can mean a lot to people on both ends.

I wish there were more personal posts in the blogosphere, its way more interesting than seeing celebrities and that sort of thing. Text, pix, audio and video, whatever it is. Keep on blogging friends.

A Place To Create

Tumblr has some amazingly creative people. I have been tag surfing and have found some unique individuals who are doing some cool things. Poetry, journaling, photography, graphics, design and other original work can be found as you blog surf. I think its important to be in a social blogging community where these posts can have a wide audience. Being original in anything is a way to make a unique contribution to the world.

A note to my followers and others

I am grateful to each of you who follow me. Blogging on my faith and religious topics is something I do. Those posts are part of who I am. I seek not to bash anyone over the head with a Bible or be holier than thou, its not what I’m about. I do want to extend the peace of God to everyone. You have the choice to believe or not. I respect you all the same. Be well and have a great week.

Happy Anniversary Polly and Leon Webb - Today is my grandparents 68th wedding anniversary. God blessed our family with these two great people. They have stuck together through good times and not so good times. Polly and Leon have raised 3 girls and have 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Throughout their lives they have shown what it means to love one another by their grace and hospitality. I love them very much and celebrate this great day with them.

Opening Day At Zaxby’s - We went out to lunch today at the newly opened Zaxby’s on Signal Mountain Road in Chattanooga. It neighbors a new Baskin Robbins which opened its doors yesterday. We had chicken fingers and crinkle cut fries with an ice cold beverage. It’s good to have a couple of more options in our part of town. It was crowded as expected but it was worth the traffic to get there.

Blogging With My Heart

So many of my blogs are written from my heart with some input from my brain. When something inspires me I want to write about it. My commitment to original blogging comes from what I see in life and I want to tell the story. I guess at my time in life I tend to be more serious, more introspective. I am picky about what I reblog, I want it to make sense in the overall context of my blog. To me blogging is a great way to get to know yourself and to get to know others as well. So as I continue to blog its my hope to share something people can use to inspire them as well. As I always say, Keep On Blogging!
