Being Socially Networked In More Than One Place
Today Twitter was down for awhile which reminded me that having a multi-network approach to social media is important. You cannot rely upon just one outlet. Having a Google+, Facebook, Tumblr, Linked In and other networks at your disposal means never losing contact with those who you have connections with. Business and personal contacts need to be informed you can reach them other places too so having that info on your website and advertising is vital. Hopefully your contacts will connect with you everywhere you are connected. Twitter can be unreliable at times with frequent outages, the same can be said for Tumblr and even Facebook. Hopefully those services are improving their server space to accommodate the daily traffic they get during peak times. Usually the price is right…free!
